a friend of mine keep bugging me about his troubled car. His ride is a 4g93 DOHC. Mivec 81 mm pistons, mivec wiring,mivec ecu,mivec gearbox..let's just say that it's a complete mivec without a mivec head. it's so sad to see his ride today. it's a mess.misfiring, the setting is not quite right..and poor performance..all these due to mechanical setting and not enough fuel to support his engine( fuel pump 1.5) so, he asked me if i could do something about it. all i can do is check his problem and we spend a couple of hours setting his car, try an error and took some parts from his wife's car (she'd kill him for this,haha). We concluded that there was some problems with his fuel pump. not enough sup.8 port because his ecu is reading a 1.6 fuel mapping when it should be a 1.8. so, the least i could do is set his fuel regulator to 3.8 bar- 4.it runs fine but he should get another fuel pump i guess...

i went to my friend's workshop last thursday. he just bought a unit of Innovate wideband from Negeri Sembilan and i guess it's my lucky day to be the first car to test his wideband. Yerp, we found out that my air and fuel ratio are not optimized due to lack of injector. so we search for the best injector the next day and i bought a set of Pajero 2.4 L 275 cc injectors. then my friend opened my head cover and make some adjustments in setting my cam pulley using some math that i have zero knowledge of. we set the regulator again, set some readings on the VAFC and make sure that the fuel ratio is on 12.5 - 13 % on the wideband. perghhh..revving happily on the highway dudes!!!!

when an idiot u-turn
i was driving this 1.8 of mine for about a week now. testing my new 4 puck custom clutch that i just bought from ZUKA auto garage. My mom called an said "along..bila kamu nak bnalik ni..dah cuti sekolah da ni..."..and i decided to go home the next day. i was sick on that night and the next day i drove my car very slowly thank God...From Ipoh to Manjung it takes about 45 minutes to get back home and on that day i stopped for a hot drink at Petronas Titi Gantung, somewhere near Bota. during that period i felt like "wei.benda jadah ape pulak nak berlaku pas ni..."i mean, i felt something bothering me and this feeling isnt so good.Maybe some of you had this experience before. But i decided to carry on with the journey back home and just about 2 kilometers from my house, a Toyota Vios is parking on the left lane and i was on my way home on the same path. Without even a single blink of a signal this fxxking BHB 8139 (fxxk if i care ) took a U-turn without even looking at the sidemirror and kabaaabooommmmm..my mirage cyborg bonnet is kaput, not to mention my double layer radiator and the entire nose cut, all got screwed up like my the pain in my heart. Bodoo!!!! i shouted at a chinese lady and his spouse kot.. "lu bawak kete camne?"and all she said is "sori encik saya salah". baga shi... what was that..and it really breaks my heart seeing that it's her fault but yet, her car still is in good condition and alas, my car is a total mess.luckily my newly built 1.8 MIVEC is still untouched, unharmed by that evil body of a VIOS (she should be thanking me for i aimed her tyres instead of her car's body. And now my car is in the insurance workshop, claiming her insurance policy and shit, i got a standard Proton SE bodypart ( did they ever think how much effort i put to buy those JDM parts?) and a new colour and it cost me a month without a car and a summon ( my bike has no insurance since 4 years ago) by a bukit aman polis 4 driving without a sidemirror..what a series of bad luck this year..first, car wreck, rebuilt, but like shit, rebuilt and then crash. i hope it ends there.. coz i'm short on cash now...God, enough of this ..pleaseee!!!!

engine failure
Engine Failure
2nd week of Hari Raya 2010 was a murky day for me. On my way home to my state, a suited evolution 2 in wira tailgate me from a federal road to the highway. Knowing that there’s still 500 km to go, I make way for him to pass but on the other hand he kept tailgating me and I don’t know what to do. Each individual have its own level of patience and until a time when my adrenaline kicks in, I took a choice of letting him kiss my orange ass. Yeah, I gave him a good one and I think that car is a 93 DOHC with minor alteration. But a Lancer MX (or MR.. i’m not quite sure but its butt looks like an evo IV ) blocking my way. So It’s between a 92 MIVEC, a 93 DOHC and a MIVEC CK. Got no problems with those cars and everyone are having fun. By the end of the kilo, everyone gave a thumbs up to me and they went on with their journey. It wasn’t long when I heard a noise rattling in my engine. Then the Engine died. I had to tow it to Yong Peng and had to wait a week for the car to finish.
Finally, the car is ready but I knew that mech is a fucking fucking mech. I asked him about six to seven time if he could rebuild a MIVEC. He said that he even tuned a 400 hp MIVEC turbo. I thought about building a 1.8 but he said to find a Pajero Block… ( by that time my brain is brainstorming if there are even a unit of a MIVEC Pajero ) That fuck really clobbered me. Engine knock, no power, poor crank, and shit.. what a way to boast people. I wonder how he tuned a 400 hp MIVEC… what a big liar. As I am writing this, my car is still in my mech workshop in Manjung, having a rebuilt with a 93 block. But if you have any trouble between Yong Peng and Pagoh…never ever let the tow truck tow your car to WH workshop near the bus stop in Yong Peng. Pomen kedaung je tu… no knowledge and the worst…boasting shit.

drag day
nowadays, people dyno their machine to know how powerful their engines are. on the other hand i dont really think that it's nesseccary. I dont know about the idea of letting those dudes at N1 or Wangan ST whack th engines to the fullest and simple saying that "dude, your bhp is 1xx."so lame. Unless i got a Lancer Evolution x or so, maybe i would just try and rethink about that. But thinking about going to track and test it with those mean machine in Kg. Gajah circuit...hmmm..maybe it's not a bad idea.
So someday on disember 09 and March 2010, my mech and i set that Standard mivec and put some simple performance part and hope not to be 'tapau'so much la by those heavily tuned 93's..huhu..god damn, it feels so awkward fighting those 1.8 mivec's and 93 twincams and all i have is a properly tuned 1.6 mivec with no agressive cams and no extreme modification. But to my suprised, i lost 2 games but eventually won 1 game.heh.seems that it isnt so bad at all..but actually, dragging on this course is just for fun and finding new friends.that's all. didnt even dream to get a prize..hehe
