Law inforcement are so strict in Malaysia. Sometimes it kills people creativity to develop RND in Motorsports and so on. yeah, we agree that you're doing your job as a road law inforcer but dont you guys have a heart? a few weeks ago a friend of mine is on the road with his wife heading north to his mom's house. On his way a group of inforcer is making a roadblock near a toll ( we pay roadtax but yet we still need to pay for the roads...freaky isnt it?) when dan officer ordered my friend to the side...he said that my friends exhaust is loud. but the problem is that his exhaust are stock from Proton (SAGA BLM), but yet he got a ticket and he cursed that officer until he reached his mama's place in Sungai Petani...
A case like that also happens to me yesterday... i almost got a ticket because my back lamp isnt working. i tried to explain that the cover dropped inside my body but he wont listen. so, i lift my back bonnet and adjust the lamp and said.."there you go sir, like new..."..but still not satisfied he asked if my car colour are like the one in the record...and i said yeah but he wouldnt believe me...so i told him to check in his computer and that officer is really wasting my time...lastly i had to say that it's a waste of time and say that i also work for the government and the summons that he might gave me would go into our bonuses. so, just let it go....after hearing that he got leanient and he let me slip that time...
That night i kept thinking why do you guys try to find mistakes ? you guys keep talking about Malaysian drivers drives like fxxk and that accidents kill malaysian more than cigarettes when you should look at the real point and see it from the people's point of view.. why do we hear Malaysians die in accidents? first, it's because of beaurocracy. Government gives tender to Contractor with enough amount of money. Contractors subs the tender to someone else and get cash for free. the sub contractors sub the tender to another low budget contractor and the last contractor makes the road not accoording to spec because the money given aint enough for them to pay their workers. so, if the road should be 4mm thick, it'll be reduced to 2 mm. After the roads are ready, heavy trucks and lorries uses the road sharing it with cars and motorcycles. Due to its weight, the road starts to crack and gotten damaged with holes and stuffs. then at night (hypothetically writing) a car fully loaded with a family uses the road unaware of the condition and hit the holes. His car got damaged. Lets say that he saw the hole and decided to evade it but in front of him another car is approaching fast...that's when accidents happen...(and it happens every months...)so... we need good road PLEASE!!!!
Then came the safety of our cars. to help national cars sell their cars, government gives AP to imported cars. so, if Malaysians wants to buy an imported car, they need to pay the tax 2 times it's original price. it makes imported cars expensive. So, no choice, Malaysian buys national cars and Proton and Perodua got it's car of the year award every year. But during those years, did they improve the chasis and the safety of passengers inside? i'm guessing not. Maybe the answer should be 'yeah'but how much money should we throw out to those company? even today, people need to pay an expensive price if they wanted two sets of airbags for the passenger and the driver. not to mention the chasis quality like a coke tin. But yet, the price is high. We pay high price even for our national cars so that these capitalist companies make profits. Then they say drive carefully guys..but i say 'hey shit..quit making low budget cars and kill your own citizens."...but they dont understand.......
Because of the low quality of cars...people modified their cars to ensure safety for them on the road. Good aftermarket absorbers are being selled like it's candy. people even changed engines to make sure they have enough power to overtake a car in front. Then came ABG J and kills people creativity and enthusiasm.you cant do this, you cant do that. When a wira with an evo III engine overtake the ministry of transport, they traced his engine. from that day, no wira are allowed to swap to a 2.0 engine. why are you afraid? ashamed a 14 year old car can overtake your luxorious car on the highway? People who got killed in Malaysia are not the ones with big engines Mr. Ling...it's your policies of giving a 660 cc to a compact car and a single cam 1300 cc for a sedan..those are the ones we hear a lot getting into accidents due to its limit in overtaking a car. next those bigger cc's involved in accidents and die due to good chassis, then the attitude of drivers ( drunk, too fast and so on )..if you want to make this right..change your policies and stop being a low life thug...
